![]() ![]() When you create a sim in CAS, the last thing that happens when you exit CAS is that the household is saved to your library so you should have the sim there. Finally, find Maximum Household Size and choose the amount you'd like. Choose MCCC Settings, then select Gameplay Settings. After this, run The Sims 4 and go to a computer. Download the mod, then install it within your Mods folder. ![]() Unfortunately, if you go through all your save files and can't find the sim, then that household is lost and you will have to start over by loading the sim from your library if it was a sim you created in CAS. If you download the MC Command Center mod, you can have more than eight Sims in one household. It says that it’s been changed in the command center settings but the game still won’t let me move in another sim. I used a computer to go to the mc command center game settings and changed the household size there. You can now have sims households from the default of 8 sims up to 10, 16, or 25 sims at a time This mod allows you to try for baby too when you go over the 8 limit. If none of them have your sim still there after doing that, then try another older save file. I currently have less than 8 sims in my house but some are pregnant already so I’m at my limit. Rinse and repeat until you find one that has your sim. ![]() If not, do it again with the next one on the list. Start the game with that recovered save and see if your sim is back. Just click on it and it will give you a list of all the versions of that save. Just to the left of the Play and Delete buttons there will be another button and when you mouse over it, it will say Recover. Then choose MCCC Settings - Gameplay Settings -> Maximum Household Size and enter a number you want. Just in case you don't know how to recover a save, all you have to do is: At the Main Menu, click the Load button and select a save. Go to the computer, click on it and choose MC Command Center. I recommend just making a second or third household to design the other Sims you want, then visit with the main family and cheat them into your household. You have to shift click on an already existing sim with cheats on, then add more Sims that way if you already have 8 in the household. But I get why you have to close your game to activate mods in the Sims 4. You cant add new family members past 8 in cas. Once I knew what and when it happened, I was able to avoid it happening again and was able to go on. Some MCCC settings dont show by clicking your sim so make sure to bring up MCCC from the computer then find these: MCCC Settings > Gameplay Settings > Maximum Household Size I tried to word it the best I could. I also use MCCC which shows a wall post when an LE occurs and that let me figure out exactly when the LE occurred and gave me the specific error that caused the LE. After recovering the save, I was able to duplicate the event several times. In trouble shooting what happened, I was fortunate as I was able to use a recovered save to get them back so you might want to see if you can recover a save where your sim is still in the game. Both times it has happened, I had a Last Exception (LE) at some point during my play prior to the save and exit. ![]() I have had a couple instances recently where the active household has completely disappeared on me when reloading after exiting and saving. know how you feel about losing your sim this way. ![]()
